WHAT IS MEDICATION-ASSISTED THERAPY (MAT) FOR ADDICTION TREATMENT

Dr. Johnson also specializes in using medication to assist in the treatment of addiction. Since 2018, Dr. Johnson has worked as a psychiatrist primarily in residential addiction recovery programs in Colorado Springs. Her work in addiction recovery has helped her develop a thorough understanding of and passion for assisting patients in early addiction recovery, rehabilitation, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

WHO IS MEDICATION-ASSISTED THERAPY FOR?

MEDICATION-ASSISTED THERAPY DETAILS

Colorado Recovery Solutions is authorized to prescribe many oral medications as options to assist in deterring addictions.

Commonly prescribed oral medications may include: 

  • Naltrexone
  • Suboxone
  • Nicotine replacement: gum, patch, lozenge, etc. 
  • Antipsychotics
  • Antidepressants
  • Mood stabilizers
  • Antabuse
  • Campral
  • Chantix

Colorado Recovery Solutions is also authorized to prescribe Vivitrol and Sublocade injections. These injections are repeated every month, for patients whose substance cravings interfere with daily decision-making of taking an oral medication such as naltrexone or suboxone. Most insurances cover these injections.

PRICING (PRIVATE PAY)

$375 – Initial session and patient intake (45 to 60 minutes)
$195 – Follow up session (30minutes)

Pricing by insurance co-pay can vary. Ask our staff if you have any questions or concerns.

If your health insurance is not listed, we can request a Single Case Agreement on your behalf from any other insurance that has a TMS benefit.
